Booking
No bookings are needed … you will be seen on a first in first served basis, when you arrive please either complete a registration or sign in (if you have attended before) by using one of the tablets provided, or scan the QR code on the whiteboard to complete on your mobile. Then add your name to the whiteboard and take a seat.
Exchange
Suggested koha is between $20-50 – but we also acknowledge that finding extra putea can be difficult, therefore, we ask that you give what you can while still being able to meet the needs of yourself and your whanau…
What to expect after your session
It is normal to feel a range of shifts – physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual, as your body begins to release and realign. You may feel tired, sore or emotionally or mentally activated – this is part of the healing process. Some whanau feel lighter or more spiritually connected. Everyone’s journey is different.
After Care
To support your healing journey we recommend the following:
- Stay hydrated – drink plenty of wai/water to support the tinana/body
- Rest and reflect – take it easy for the rest of the day if possible, and consider journaling what is coming up for you and how you are feeling.
- Avoid alcohol, heavy foods and intense activity – allow your system to reset without additional strain
- Reach out for tautoko/support if you feel unbalanced and are finding it difficult to stabilise yourself
- Be kind to your self- healing takes time; be patient and gentle with whatever arises.
If anything comes up or you would like to talk, we are here to support you.
